About The Position

Cemex US is seeking a proactive Terminal Operator to support terminal operations. The role handles, loads, unloads, and ships bulk materials efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. It also involves hands-on inspection and maintenance of terminal equipment, customer service, coordination with logistics, and assisting with training new team members. The work takes place in varied conditions, including outdoor industrial settings, and involves physically demanding tasks.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces and perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, and operate equipment.
Positive, solution-oriented attitude and ability to work well with customers and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

Experience in terminal operations or a similar industrial setting.
Certifications or training in welding, electrical work, or maintenance.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize daily terminal operations to support efficient logistics and customer service.
Safely load and unload bulk materials in accordance with applicable safety protocols.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on terminal equipment.
Follow Cemex safety standards, use personal protective equipment, and comply with OSHA regulations.
Serve as a customer contact and resolve inquiries and issues professionally.
Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize schedules and resources.
Assist with training new team members.
