About The Position

Trade the ordinary worksite for one of Alaska’s most remote and beautiful landscapes. As a Terminal Operator in Cold Bay, you’ll spend your rotation working at the edge of the Alaska Peninsula, surrounded by mountains, tundra, wildlife, and rugged coastline. You’ll perform hands-on terminal operations and maintenance on a two-weeks on, two-weeks off schedule, with housing, round-trip airfare from Anchorage, and a company vehicle provided while in Cold Bay.

Requirements

  • Five years of diesel-mechanic experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Valid Class B CDL driver’s license with Hazmat endorsement issued by the state of Alaska
  • Ability to successfully complete a HAZWOPER physical
  • Ability to successfully complete required background and motor vehicle record checks
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Prior aircraft fueling, fuel terminal, or petroleum operations experience.
  • Prior military experience, especially in aviation, logistics, fuels, maintenance, or transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Safely receive, transfer, store, and deliver fuel in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety and environmental requirements.
  • Support air terminal operations by fueling and deicing aircraft, coordinating fueling activity, and maintaining safe, efficient service for airport customers and operators.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on terminal facilities, machinery, equipment, and systems.
  • Diagnose basic engine and equipment performance issues, recommend repairs, and support safe equipment operation.
  • Maintain an orderly, safe, and compliant terminal environment and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Participate in spill-response preparedness and company-provided environmental and safety training.
