About The Position

Unload grain and grain by-products from trucks and rail cars. Opening gates and doors on both trucks and rail cars. Must be able to handle vibrators, car door openers, spud bars, & sledge hammers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and facility. Must be able to distinguish different products and report any abnormities to supervisor. Be able to work a combination of 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts consisting of days, nights & weekends. Work is physically demanding, dirty and exposed to outside elements. Follow instructions of Superintendent, Assistant or Lead. Follow all LDC safety rules and procedures. Responsible for a clean work area, clean facility and general maintenance. Must wear all required PPE for the jobs being performed. Assist in all areas of the facility as needed.
