About The Position

The Transload Terminal Manager is responsible for the full scope of day-to-day operations at the bulk transload terminal. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. Core responsibilities include administrative reporting, personnel leadership, product quality assurance, environmental compliance, and accurate documentation management. In addition to overseeing daily operations, the Transload Terminal Manager supports the planning and execution of capital improvement and expansion projects. The role ensures terminal reliability through effective troubleshooting, coordination of repairs, and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.

Requirements

• Ability to be available 24/7 and work full days and periodic alternate shifts, including long hours, multiple shifts, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
• Ability to enter confined spaces and wear proper PPE.
• Ability to climb railcars and tanks.
• Ability to work in office conditions, perform clerical work, and work periodically outside in a manufacturing plant environment with and around operational process equipment in temperature extremes for extended periods.
• Ability to work around asphalt and other related chemicals on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to lift 50-75lbs. repetitively as needed.
• Ability to work outside in inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to work over nights and weekends; some holidays may be required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Minimum 5 years prior experience with terminal, rail, or transloading operations and product receipts by rail and truck or alternately within a chemical processing environment.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to attend and pass all training associated with job requirements (OSHA, HazMat, HAZWOPER, FRA).
• Must be able to proficiently communicate site information.
• Must speak English fluently.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
