We are seeking an experienced Terminal Manager for a position in Chico, CA!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • 5-10 years of related experience.
  • Must be able to work 8AM-5PM Monday Through Friday (Some weekends as needed).
  • 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, planning, team building, budget analysis, route efficiency and development, and service analysis.
  • Must be available to travel occasionally to our Company's yard in Fortuna, CA.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with planning, developing, and implementing organizational policies and goals.
  • Oversees operation of the Office and Dispatching in assigned terminal.
  • Analyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budget.
  • Understands and reviews Profit Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Confers with administrative personnel and review activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations as required.
  • Oversees all operations and maintains compliance for all activities at the assigned terminal.
  • Interfaces with the federal, state, and local agencies in a professional manner.
  • Plans and schedules the work of others.
  • Sets goals and objectives for others.
  • Provides training and instruction to others.
  • Assigns work activities to others.
