Requirements

Must obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements, a satisfactory driving record and valid medical card.

Responsibilities

Responsible for terminal operations including product unloading, product transfer, storage and product loading.
Assist in day-to-day operations of the whole Vandalia Crops location.
Responsible for equipment operations, product handling, and product receipt and transfer.
Receives incoming freight assuring product quality and accuracy.
Responsible for ensuring the required shipping/receiving documentation is accurate.
Provides any inventory requirements for all consigned products stored at the terminal.
Unloads materials and ensures storage in appropriate location.
Loads outgoing freight protecting product quality and accuracy.
Ensures that proper invoices are supplied and accurate.
Coordinates loading and blending activities with other SCFS locations.
Provides quality customer service.
Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment and areas in accordance with company standards.
Keeps facility neat, clean, and organized.
Follows South Central’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Ability to work extended hours.
Ability and willingness to participate in training relating to the requirements of the position.
