About The Position

This role is responsible for operating and maintaining the terminal and products stored on site using established procedures. The position involves performing tank gauging, sample gathering, testing, and routine maintenance, as well as overseeing product receiving, truck loading, and the upkeep of the terminal facility.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent education.
  • Some computer knowledge helpful.
  • Must be able to work flexible work schedule including overtime, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able and willing to be on call for specified time periods.

  • 2 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage facility security and operations by opening/closing valves, taking samples, gauging tanks and temperatures, recording readings, verifying valve positions, conducting security checks, and completing inspections.
  • Coordinate with delivery companies and inspectors, assist with vessel docking, handle inspections and security declarations, manage hose connections, gauge vessels, align piping and valves, monitor transfers, and act as the Person in Charge (PIC).
  • Perform routine maintenance including repairing equipment, calibrating gauges, greasing valves, maintaining terminal grounds, handling landscaping and custodial duties, draining tanks, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Test and log high-level alarms, inspect fire extinguishers and other safety equipment, check seals, and test firewater and foam systems.
  • Train drivers, issue driver cards, inspect transports, maintain driver files, and enter data into automation systems.
  • Monitor and manage tank levels, offload trucks, receive additives, perform meter readings and calibrations, reconcile inventories, handle product transfers and blending, interact with contractors, and complete computer-based training.
