About The Position
The Department of Economics at St. Olaf College is seeking to fill a full-time, one-year position at the Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor level, commencing August 17, 2026. The role involves teaching Trade, Development, and Gender, or a comparable senior-level elective, and Principles of Economics. Additionally, the successful candidate will teach an undergraduate elective course aligned with their expertise, to be determined upon hiring. An ability to teach urban economics is a preferred qualification for this position.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in economics is preferred.
- ABD in economics with undergraduate teaching experience will receive full consideration.
