About The Position

Provide excellent customer service; designs and provides quality lessons to students, during clinics, and assist with tournament play. Assist with Kroc Tennis teams in helping them achieve their playing levels.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Minimum NTRP rating of 4.5
• USPTA or PTR Certification, required
• Safe From Harm Certification
• Blood Borne Pathogens Certification
• Must have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aide/AED certification within first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• College Tennis playing experience
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent, prompt, and courteous services for members and perspective members of the Greenville Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Tennis Center.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct lessons and clinics with members and guests.
• Evaluates students’ performance; provides feedback to students and/or parents to ensure individual growth and improve skills.
• Supports logistical, staffing, and resources needs and ensure Junior Clinics, tournaments, and other events run smoothly.
• Incorporate safe work practices while instructing.
• Promote Kroc Center Tennis memberships and products including lessons, court time and equipment.
• Assist maintenance staff in proper care of tennis courts; alerting maintenance staff immediately of any problems with the courts.
• Enforce all Kroc Tennis Center rules and regulations governing the use of the facility, its equipment and other Kroc property.
• Strings racquets for customers, as requested.
