About The Position

The Dunes Golf & Beach Club is seeking a part-time Tennis Shop Attendant to provide exceptional service and support within its tennis operations. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. As a Tennis Shop Attendant, you will be a key part of the member experience, assisting with sales, court reservations, and general tennis operations.

Requirements

  • Prior retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Friendly and professional communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including point-of-sale systems and scheduling software.
  • Interest in tennis and recreational sports is a plus.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting members and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Assisting members with purchases, including apparel, accessories, and equipment.
  • Managing court reservations and maintaining accurate schedules.
  • Answering phone calls and responding to questions about tennis programs and services.
  • Supporting tennis events, tournaments, and programs with check-ins and setup assistance.
  • Processing point-of-sale transactions and maintaining accurate member charges, cash and credit records.
  • Keeping the tennis shop clean and organized.
  • Assisting with inventory control, restocking, and merchandise displays.
  • Collaborating with the Tennis Operations Manager and other staff to ensure a high-quality member and guest experience.
  • Helping with light administrative tasks and providing general support to the tennis team.
