About The Position

The Tennis Shop Attendant serves as a primary point of contact, greeting and assisting members and guests at the Fitness Center and Tennis Pro Shop. The core mission is to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and ensure every guest enjoys a pleasant and seamless experience. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and visually appealing facility while ensuring all supplies and retail merchandise are well-stocked.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to comprehend reading materials and speak, read, and write fluently in English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a neat and pleasant overall appearance.
• Strong ability to resolve issues and handle customer complaints by informing supervisors in a timely manner.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests as they enter the facility.
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for tennis courts and lessons.
• Efficiently handle sales transactions within the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Utilize Golf Pro and V1 systems for scheduling and checking in guests for services.
• Maintain the cleanliness of both the Tennis and Fitness centers.
• Ensure all retail items are folded, hung, neatly organized, and re-stocked as needed.
