About The Position
The Mt. Lebanon Racket Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tennis Stringer to provide racket stringing services for our tennis community. This is an independent contractor position offering flexible scheduling and a steady volume of rackets during peak seasons.
Requirements
- Prior experience stringing tennis rackets required
- Knowledge of different string types, tensions, and racket patterns
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to manage workload independently
- Reliable and responsive with good communication skills
Responsibilities
- String tennis rackets to customer specifications (tension, string type, pattern)
- Inspect rackets for damage and notify staff/customers of any concerns
- Maintain consistency and quality in all stringing work
- Manage turnaround times to ensure timely completion of orders
- Communicate with front desk staff regarding completed and pending rackets
- Maintain a clean and organized stringing workspace
