About The Position

The Tennis Professional is responsible for providing excellent service to club members and guests, organizing and promoting tennis activities, and acting as a tennis ambassador for the club. This role involves teaching lessons, managing events, maintaining facilities, and ensuring member satisfaction.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years as a Tennis Professional.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
USPTA certification required.
Required tennis instruction training.
Ability to communicate effectively with proper grammar.
Ability to work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time.
Ability to focus attention on detail.

Responsibilities

Provide the Three Steps of Service to members and guests.
Organize tennis clinics and private lessons.
Promote tennis memberships.
Act as the Club's Tennis Ambassador.
Assist members with all tennis needs and ensure tennis policies are followed.
Teach private or group tennis lessons/drills.
Schedule, administer, and promote leagues, round robins, drop-in, ladders, tournaments, and other events.
Develop and promote tennis clinics, private lessons, and adult, junior, and senior programs.
Conduct tennis orientations for new members.
Maintain courts in a professional manner and ensure a safe environment.
Maximize the Club's tennis facilities to reduce attrition and attract new members.
Ensure daily assignments are completed to meet club standards.
Assist fellow Employee Partners, Members, and guests to ensure delivery of the 3 steps of service.
Notify supervisor of Member/Guest complaints and rectify them promptly.
Interact professionally with Members/Guests, assisting with changes and last-minute requests.
Attend Club functions and tennis committee meetings.
Adhere to all company, club, and department standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain good conduct and safe working habits.
Attend daily line-up and participate as requested.
Wear a clean and neat uniform daily.
