About The Position

Weymouth Club is looking to hire an experienced full-time teaching professional with a starting date of September 1, 2026. Candidates who have a proven background teaching red, orange, and green (ROG) junior clinics will get top consideration. This person must have the ability to lead large classes. The candidate must also be comfortable coaching adult clinics and team practices as well as junior high performance clinics. A Racquets Professionals at the Weymouth club possess a wide array of skills both on and off the court. Each professional is required to adhere to a standard that contributes to the wellbeing of our successful program. It is required that our Racquets Professionals must be culturally aligned with the clubs work ethic, that our Tennis Professionals understand their job responsibilities extend beyond tennis/pickleball, and that all employees work to continually improve that cultural team environment. Increasing member participation and retention by actively, constantly & personally promoting all clubs programming. Ensuring Tennis department standards by maintaining an immaculate tennis facility. Providing world class tennis lessons for adults and juniors—private, semi-private and group—beginner through advanced levels. Evaluating student progress and teaching tennis best practices and techniques. Meeting weekly with the Tennis Director. Involved with regular club tennis events to include USTA Tournaments, tennis socials and round robin events.

Requirements

  • Have 5 or more years of Professional Tennis experience.
  • Possess a NTRP rating of 5.0 or higher with collegiate playing experience.
  • Be certified through the USPTA, PTR or PPA
  • Must be passionate about ROG junior tennis clinics and be able to lead these types of classes
  • Must be willing and able to work on Saturdays
