About The Position
Country Club of Asheville is seeking an energetic, service-minded Tennis Professional to join our growing racquet sports team. This hands-on, member-facing role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate tennis professional who enjoys teaching, building relationships, and creating memorable member experiences in one of North Carolina’s most desirable mountain communities. Working closely with the Director of Tennis and Pickleball, this position will support a full calendar of lessons, clinics, camps, socials, tournaments, events, and daily racquet sports operations.
Requirements
- Competitive tennis experience required
- Coaching experience required
- Strong communication, organization, and member-service skills
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented approach
Nice To Haves
- Collegiate tennis experience preferred
- USPTA or PTR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with private lessons, clinics, camps, and instructional programming
- Support socials, tournaments, events, and racquet sports activities
- Help promote and grow tennis and pickleball participation
- Provide exceptional service to members and guests
- Maintain shop hours, including court bookings, calls, emails, and daily member support
- Perform racquet stringing and assist with court maintenance as needed
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and support additional department needs
