Tennis Maintenance (Part-time mornings - 7am-9am)
About The Position
The acac Tennis Maintenance Professional is responsible for maintaining acac’s tennis courts in pristine condition. This role involves essential functions such as court maintenance including brushing and lining clay tennis courts, maintaining and cleaning devices members use to clean clay off their shoes, blowing sidewalks, picking up towels and other debris left by members on and around all courts, cleaning tables and chairs, emptying trash, and replacing and replenishing water on all courts. The role also includes vacuuming the indoor tennis center. The professional must represent ACAC in a professional manner at all times, deliver outstanding service to members, guests, and team members with friendliness, direct eye contact, and a pleasant demeanor, and promote the safety and security of all participants at all times. Punctuality, proactive seeking of substitutes for shifts, and immediate notification of the supervisor are expected. Proper uniform and adherence to the acac brand standard are required at all times. Attendance at departmental meetings and maintaining current CPR/AED certification are also part of the role.
Requirements
- Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, early mornings and weekends
- Willingness to work additional hours based on the needs of the program
- Must be 16 years or older to apply
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, stretch, climb and move for duration of shift
- Must be able to work in warm and humid outdoor conditions
- Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook
- Park in team member-designated areas
- Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep the club neat and clean
- Assist with Service Days
- Assist with acac programs, special events, or activities outside your department
- Promptly return messages
- Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
- Deliver five-star service to members and guests with friendliness, direct eye contact, and a pleasant demeanor at all times
Responsibilities

- Promote the safety and security of all participants at all times
- Arrive to work in a timely manner with enough time to prepare for your scheduled shift
- Greet members and guests as they arrive and leave the tennis center
- Remain competent in administering acac’s Emergency Action Plan and be alert and prepared for any emergency
- If unable to work, proactively seek substitutes for your shifts and immediately inform supervisor of the substitution
- Be in proper uniform at all times while at work and always present the acac brand and standard anytime and anywhere the acac uniform is worn
- Attend departmental meetings as required
- Attend CPR/AED training provided by acac; maintain current certification for the duration of your employment
