About The Position

The Tennis Instructor will be responsible for providing high-quality tennis instruction to players of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tennis and a proven track record of success in coaching. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist with preparation Junior tennis program activities. Assist with preparation of Summer Camp activities. Keep members and staff current regarding events, lessons, and programs offered by the tennis club. Teaching group and private lessons Teaching Junior programs Teaching Summer Camp Assisting with all aspects of the Summer Camp (lunches, all-sport days, swimming) Racquet Stringing Some court maintenance when necessary Assist in organizing events for tennis and pickleball. Assisting in Club Doubles on Saturday mornings Providing the best possible experience for members and hotel guests, while growing the tennis membership Coordinates with other departments to maximize service levels. Works cooperatively with all members and staff Successfully complete other projects and duties assigned by the Director of Racquet Sports Maintain open communication with all members and staff. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to act quickly, decisively and calmly in an emergency.
Ability to perform rescue actions and administer CPR and First Aid as needed.
Ability to write and lead workouts.
Ability to build relationships with members of all ages.
Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner.
Ability to multi-task and learn quickly.
Self-starter, reliable, responsible, and dedicated.
Ability to lift to 75 pounds.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
Comfortable working with all age groups, including children and teens.
Ability to maintain physical and mental fitness level consistent with readiness to respond to emergency situations.
A strong background in tennis, and specifically, tennis instruction required.
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be over 18 years of age.
