Tennis Court Technician
About The Position
As an integral part of the facilities team, our Tennis Facilities Associates ensure a safe and high functioning environment for members, guests, and associates. This role involves daily maintenance and troubleshooting of outdoor tennis courts and other outdoor areas, responding to work orders and emergency calls, and coordinating outdoor tennis court maintenance under the direction of the Tennis Facilities Manager. The associate is expected to maintain a pleasant and courteous attitude, take pride in their work, and be self-directed with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Experience or readiness to train on hard courts, clay courts and red clay courts daily maintenance
- Understanding or readiness to train on irrigation systems
- Ability to perform labor and detail-oriented work outdoors
- Flexibility to complete other tasks, both related to outdoor spaces (pools, terraces, and lounge areas) and indoor spaces, as needed
- Self-directed requiring little supervision once a task is assigned
- Understanding prioritization and a sense of urgency; able to meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Facility Manager
- Complete daily maintenance and troubleshooting of outdoor tennis courts and other outdoor areas
- Complete and respond to all assigned work orders, trouble calls, and emergency facility calls regarding outdoor areas
- Coordinate and execute outdoor tennis court maintenance under direction of Tennis Facilities Manager in coordination with the Raquet Sports Manager
- Consistently present a pleasant, attentive and courteous attitude toward members, guests and fellow associates
- Take pride in themselves and their work
