About The Position

Hope Valley Country Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring a Tennis Court Maintenance Technician to maintain its tennis courts and surrounding areas. The technician helps ensure the courts are safe, clean, and in optimal condition through routine inspections, cleaning, minor repairs, and general upkeep. The role also supports tennis events and tournaments by preparing courts and setting up or breaking down equipment. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Inspect tennis courts regularly and identify and address issues.
Clean and maintain playing surfaces by sweeping, pressure washing, and removing debris.
Repair cracks, holes, and other court-surface damage as needed.
Install and maintain nets, posts, and court lines.
Maintain inventories of maintenance supplies and equipment; order and replenish supplies as necessary.
Keep equipment in good working condition and report malfunctions or needed repairs.
Clean and maintain surrounding seating areas and walkways.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
Perform landscaping around the courts, including trimming bushes and maintaining lawns.
Keep courts and surrounding areas safe, address hazards promptly, and report safety concerns to the Facilities Manager.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment for tennis events and tournaments.
Ensure courts are in top condition for scheduled events and matches.
