About The Position

Raintree Country Club is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, and reliable individual to join our team as Tennis Court Maintenance Staff. This role involves preparing and maintaining all tennis courts to ensure optimal play conditions, often early in the morning and 7 days a week. The ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain professionalism, and interact courteously with club members. This position can be either full-time (30-40 hours/week) or part-time.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Previous tennis court maintenance experience preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain all tennis courts early mornings 7 days a week (5 clay courts, 4 hard courts).
Work hours as needed making sure courts are in great shape before all league matches.
Complete daily tasks including brushing and lining clay courts, blowing off hard courts and sidewalks, raking leaves off clay courts, pulling weeds and cleaning up areas around edges of courts, refilling water jugs and replacing cups, cleaning water beds, and emptying all trash bins.
Effectively communicate and correspond with the applicable supervisor to coordinate, acknowledge, prioritize, and document complete work requested.
Be able to work around members on the courts being kind and courteous.
Be able to complete any tasks including pressure washing, painting, putting up and down windscreens, line repair, working with power tools, painting, cleaning benches and coolers, court resurfacing, etc.
Roll, brush, water, line, and repair courts daily to ensure optimal play conditions.
Refill coolers with ice, water, and cups.
Maintain court lines, nets, windscreens, shoe cleaners and court accessories.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of tennis facilities, including walkways and spectator areas.
Support the Tennis Professional staff as needed to ensure seamless daily operations.
