About The Position
WestFit is seeking an energetic and passionate coach to join our expanding Junior Development Team. With a thriving U12 program (Red, Orange, and Green Ball) and a deep pipeline of young talent, this is the perfect role for a junior specialist or an ambitious coach looking to grow under professional mentorship. The ideal candidate must be able to handle all on-court coaching responsibilities with a calm, organized, and professional approach. We are a club on the rise, and for the right candidate, this position offers significant potential to expand weekly hours and take on more responsibility. Requirements
- Experience working with young juniors
- USTA Safe Play required or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills
- Team-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on program needs.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching certification preferred (USPTA, PTR, GPTCA)
Responsibilities
- Coach group classes for players ages 6–12 using USTA Red/Orange/Green progression
- Deliver fun, structured, high-quality sessions
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Assist with evaluations
- Support camps and seasonal programs
- Maintain a positive learning environment
- Supervise all on-court activities and ensure adherence to facility rules and safety procedures.
- Enforce club policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for all members and staff.
