About The Position

Graland Country Day School is seeking a passionate Tennis Pro or Coach to co-lead its Middle School tennis program. This position is based at the Gates Tennis Center and involves working with up to 24 students, split into groups of 12 for practices and matches. The role focuses on developing students' skills, etiquette, and passion for tennis. This is an afternoon coaching opportunity during the fall season.

Requirements

• Solid experience in tennis instruction.
• Ability to break down the game for middle schoolers.
• Emphasis on sportsmanship and court etiquette.
• Dependable and able to bring expertise to every practice and match.
• Serve as a pillar of support for the team.

Nice To Haves

• USPTA/PTR certification is a great bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-energy, engaging practices focusing on stroke mechanics, match strategy, and tennis etiquette.
• Coach players through approximately 7 competitive matches, teaching them how to compete with grace and integrity.
• Help transport students to the courts and matches using our 14-passenger school bus if needed.
