Temporary Warehouse Specialist
About The Position
Just Ingredients is looking to hire temporary warehouse specialists for our upcoming Birthday Sale. This position will run from Tuesday, July 21st through Tuesday, August 4th (including Saturdays). There are two shifts we are hiring for: Day Shift from 6am-2:30pm and Swing Shift from 3pm-11:30pm. Training Dates: Day Shift: Friday, July 17th from 7:30am-4pm. Swing Shift: Monday, July 20th from 7:30am-4pm. Pay Rates: Day Shift: $16.50 per hour. Swing Shift: $17.50 per hour. The Temporary Warehouse Specialist assists in picking, packing, sorting, or shipping orders to customers while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position requires teamwork and organization to ensure the smooth flow of materials and maintain accuracy in inventory, contributing to the efficiency of on-time delivery for all Just Ingredients products. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to read, speak and understand English.
- Able to stand for 4-8 hours at a time.
- Ability to bend, reach, and push packages weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Willing to work in warehouse conditions (hot, cold, and dusty at times).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to follow instructions carefully and accurately.
- Able to adapt to change on the fly.
- You can be relied on for consistent attendance and punctuality.
- You live in or near Utah County and are willing and able to work 8-hour shifts in our Orem warehouse.
- You value diverse individuals from all backgrounds and communities.
- People enjoy working with/around you and are inspired by your integrity and work ethic.
- You have a positive mindset.
- Safety and efficiency are paramount to you, ensuring all tasks are executed accurately and to the best of your ability.
Nice To Haves
- Previous picking experience in a fulfillment or warehouse setting preferred.
- Prior work in a fast-paced warehouse or fulfillment center is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders based on orders printed prior to the shift
- Stage orders for the shipping specialist to send out to customers
- Assist in stocking the pick-face (flow racking), when needed
- Break down boxes and keep the work area clean during the picking operation and after restocking the pick face
- Create and maintain a safe environment at all times for yourself and others
- Perform other tasks, as needed or requested
