Temporary Warehouse Associate
About The Position
This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 9–12 months, with the possibility of extending longer based on business needs. Coilcraft is a successful, privately held company in Cary, IL, with a worldwide reputation for high-quality passive electronic components. Coilcraft operates in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, computers, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are currently seeking a dependable Temporary Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is expected to last approximately 9–12 months and may extend beyond that timeframe depending on business needs. This is not currently a permanent position.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- U.S. citizens or permanent residents (due to ITAR export regulations).
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred, but not required.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receive, move, organize, and distribute materials throughout the facility.
- Pick and prepare materials and products for internal departments and shipments.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials as needed.
- Verify materials and quantities for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records.
- Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
