We are seeking a safe and reliable Temporary Shuttle Driver to join our transportation team for this year's Genesis Invitational. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing prompt and courteous transportation services to our guests and staff, ensuring a seamless and efficient travel experience. Requirements

  • Valid and current driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in shuttle or passenger transportation preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings and evenings during the duration of the golf tournament.
  • Knowledge of golf etiquette and tournament-related events is a plus.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and operate the shuttle vehicle.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of light equipment or supplies.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in shuttle or passenger transportation preferred.
  • Knowledge of golf etiquette and tournament-related events is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the designated shuttle vehicle to transport tournament participants, guests, and staff within the country club premises.
  • Adhere to the designated shuttle routes and schedules.
  • Provide a high level of customer service, including assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking the shuttle.
  • Offer courteous and friendly assistance to address any guest inquiries.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during shuttle operations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the shuttle is in proper working condition.
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with tournament organizers, country club staff, and other shuttle drivers.
  • Provide updates on shuttle status and any changes to the schedule.
  • Be adaptable to potential changes in the schedule or shuttle routes based on the evolving needs of the golf tournament.
  • Familiarize yourself with the country club layout and tournament venues to provide efficient and accurate transportation.
  • Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing the country club during the tournament.
