About The Position

The Riviera Country Club is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to serve as the Floor Tournament Manager during the week of our prestigious golf tournament. As the Floor Tournament Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of all tournament-related activities, providing exceptional service to members and guests, and maintaining the overall integrity of the tournament. We are looking for two individuals, one would oversee player dining, while one would oversee the general floor area.

  • Knowledge of golf etiquette and tournament rules.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Clubhouse during the golf tournament.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including golf course staff, catering, and facilities, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Act as the main point of contact for members and guests participating in the tournament.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, enhancing the overall member and guest experience.
  • Effectively communicate tournament details, updates, and changes to all relevant parties.
  • Utilize various communication channels, including signage, announcements, and digital platforms.
  • Coordinate the setup of Clubhouse tournament-related areas.
  • Ensure proper signage and directional cues are in place.
  • Be familiar with emergency procedures and act as a point of contact in case of any issues or emergencies during the tournament.
