About The Position

We are seeking reliable and guest-focused Temporary Cashiers to support a professional golf tournament held at The Riviera Country Club. Cashiers may be assigned to work in food service areas or bar service areas and will play a key role in providing efficient, friendly, and accurate service to members, guests, players, and tournament staff during this high-profile event.

Requirements

• Previous cashier, food service, or bar experience preferred
• Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during peak service times
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work assigned shifts throughout the event
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors or indoors as needed
• Must be available to work February 16–22, 2026
• Must follow dress code and appearance standards for a private country club
• Must demonstrate professionalism when interacting with members, guests, and staff

Responsibilities

• Accurately process food and beverage transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments responsibly
• Provide friendly, professional customer service in a fast-paced event environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cashier station
• Communicate effectively with food, beverage, and bar staff to ensure smooth service
• Follow all club policies, event procedures, and cash-handling guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and uphold safety standards at all times
