The Temporary Shelter Monitor, under the supervision of the Shelter Operations Manager and Shelter Program Coordinator, is responsible for providing shelter services to clients. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining a safe and secure environment with an emphasis on non-violent communication and intervention. The position involves managing shelter guests' personal property, directing guests in maintaining shelter areas, assisting with intakes and appointments, monitoring laundry and day room areas, and cleaning/sanitizing all shelter spaces. The role also includes performing other duties as requested by supervisors and fulfilling other related duties as required.
