About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Secretary to support the Learning & Leadership Solutions department. This role will provide administrative and operational support during a transitional period, assisting with daily office functions, event coordination, and workspace organization.

Requirements

  • Prior administrative or secretarial experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable with light physical tasks (moving materials, organizing spaces, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Zoom or similar virtual platforms
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support, including copying, filing, and document management
  • Assist with scheduling and calendaring for team members
  • Support event setup and breakdown, ensuring materials and spaces are prepared accordingly
  • Help facilitate office transitions, including moving books, materials, and coordinating with facilities for furniture relocation
  • Maintain organization of shared workspaces and supplies
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks and communication
  • Support virtual meetings and platforms such as Zoom
