About The Position
The Fuels and Combustion Department at The University of Alabama is seeking a candidate for a Temporary Research Assistant. This position works alongside a faculty member on turbine engine combustion laboratory and associated equipment. The Temporary Research Support assists in research work in support of a major research project which may include duties such as gathering, tracking and entering data, preparing support material, etc.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Some experience related to the responsibilities of the assignment(s)
- Experimental combustion research work experience required
- Ability to work on a personal computer including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to follow directions
Nice To Haves
- Experimental combustion research work experience required
- Prior experience with gas turbine engines, sensors, and minor programming
