About The Position

The Administrative Office Technology department is housed in the School of Business and Computer Technology. Our goal is to produce highly skilled graduates that are prepared for careers in business, medical, legal, and technical offices. We are seeking an Instructor to teach Administrative Office Technology courses. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, student focused, and able to work effectively in a team environment to support student success. In this challenging role, you will support the Administrative Office Technology department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:

Requirements

  • A Doctorate or a Master's degree with a major in business, management, or a related field or a Doctorate or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in business, management, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in the Administrative Office Technology department including Microsoft Office, office systems and procedures, professional development, and medical systems and procedures
  • Prepare lectures
  • Implement course curriculum
  • Provide timely, relevant feedback to students
  • Adhere to college and department guidelines and requirements
  • Grade/assess student work
  • Develop/implement new classroom strategies
  • Consult with students
  • Perform other duties as assigned
