About The Position

The HR Operations Coordinator will provide support to the HR team, with a focus on HR Operations. Areas of focus include Administration, Data Entry, HR Information Systems, and Benefits / Wellness/ Recognition Programs. This position reports to the Director, Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations and may take guidance from the VP/ HR. The position is based in the NYC office and may require presence in the NJ office. In office requirements are Monday – Thursday 9AM-5PM with flexibility to work past 5:00 and/or to be in office on Friday’s based on business need.

Requirements

  • Strong internship experience and/or 1 year of relevant corporate experience preferred
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to follow up and execute various cross functional projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in Human Resources, Compensation, Analytics, Reporting, and Financials
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge/extreme curiosity in PowerBI

Responsibilities

  • System Onboarding and offboarding of all North America staff (Success Factors HRIS platform, Payroll onboarding, I9 Management, and Learning and Development Platforms)
  • Coordinate onboarding materials including but not limited to New Hire Orientation, Benefit Orientations, Welcome emails, badges, seating, etc.
  • Update Organizational chart updates weekly
  • Execute tasks related to data integrity and reporting for the HR systems
  • Learning Management System (Stitch) Activations and Deactivations
  • Support HRIS data integrity and compliance by running audits and tracking changes across different platforms on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Partner with HR team to create and maintain accuracy of all data related to compensation and work with payroll to expedite salary changes and bonus payments
  • Track HR budget spend and month-end accrual submission
  • Organize events and initiatives such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and on site coordination for engagement events
  • Support recognition programs, re: annual service awards/ milestones
  • Draft and deploy internal employee surveys/ pulse-checks to identify improvement areas.
  • Track attendance, engagement metrics and upload data to dashboards/related systems
  • Execute Benefits Reporting
  • Conduct Beneficiary Audits
  • Write/post internal/external communications on DeltaLink/LinkedIn (re: Employee Spotlights) in collaboration with Manager, Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations
  • Coordinate wellness committee activities/programs, participate in the committee meetings and events
  • Answer basic policy/procedure questions from retail field and corporate employees (i.e. payroll, vacation/sick pay, rehire status, change in status processes etc.)
  • Projects as assigned
  • Support Reception and Office Facilities as needed
  • Schedule meetings/individuals
