About The Position
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is seeking applications for a pool of part-time teaching appointments. Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.
- Experience in teaching and working with colleagues from diverse ages, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
- Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check).
Nice To Haves
- A master’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline and prior college-level teaching experience and relevant industry experience.
- A PhD in Chemistry or related discipline and prior college-level teaching experience and relevant industry experience is required for teaching upper-division core courses (300- or 400-level).
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned lower and upper division courses in the department’s curriculum.
- Serve weekly office hours based on assigned teaching unit load.
