About The Position
Burris Laboratory School is seeking part-time, temporary athletic coaches to support and mentor students on various teams. Candidates for this position must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. The position function is to provide coaching and training to student athletes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of applicable sport
- Must be able to effectively communicate to students, parents, officials, school administration.
- Current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs
- Help students establish personal and team goals.
- Plan game strategies, select players
- Ensure a safe environment for athletes, adhere to all school and safety standards, complete required safety training and implement necessary.
- Promote sportsmanship among athletes.
- Record keeping and reporting to school administrators and athletic director.
