About The Position

The Temple Grounds Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the temple grounds reflect the beauty, cleanliness, and sacred nature of the temple experience, maintaining standards established by the First Presidency. Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work, seeking innovative ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world by working in His kingdom.

• Only members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the temple grounds reflect the beauty, cleanliness, and sacred nature of the temple experience.
• Maintain standards established by the First Presidency.
• Perform gardener/grounds keeping work, maintaining and caring for landscaped areas, sidewalks, driveways, building entrances, and other assigned areas.
• Provide direction and technical assistance to gardeners and volunteers and partner with third party support, as necessary.
• Resolve questions and problems related to grounds.
• Typically responsible for up to 7 acres.
