This role is responsible for ensuring the temple reflects the beauty, cleanliness, and sacred nature of the temple experience, while maintaining standards established by the First Presidency. The Temple Facilities Manager provides functional leadership to all department employees (Assistant Facilities Managers, Custodial, Grounds, Security) for one temple and/or up to four smaller temples. This position also involves project management responsibilities for capital expenditure R&I projects for facilities, systems, and grounds. This includes providing inspections, reporting, reviewing compliance with drawings and specifications, liaison with local government, permitting, monitoring project schedules, and coordinating furniture/materials delivery and installation. The role regularly manages the work of other employees and is considered the most senior functional expert in the facility.
