About The Position

Position in this function is under direct supervision, the Template Editor is responsible for the administrative template management for providers in one or multiple specialties. Duties include but are not limited to editing of provider templates to reflect approved time off, communication of template changes to department supervisors, phone room supervisors, and scheduling supervisors as applicable, to ensure timely and patient centered rescheduling takes place. Tracking and updating approved time off for providers. Works closely with chiefs and notifies if balance in accruals is low. Setting up new provider templates and modifiers and adjusting for ramp as directed by service line. Ensures template standards are adhered to, including interfacing with analysts for technical guidance on any template issues that may arise. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 18 years or older
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical or customer service role
  • Experience using scheduling software and electronic medical record systems (EPIC)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of patient-related documents is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to communicate in a professional and appropriate manner
  • Proven solid interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills required
  • Proven solid organizational skills are necessary to manage many competing timetables and responsibilities
  • Proven ability to effectively plan for the timely and successful completion of short- and long-term objectives
  • Proven ability to consistently meet established deadlines for deliverable or activities
