About The Position

CIS Secure Computing is seeking a motivated and experienced TEMPEST Engineer to follow TEMPEST test plans, execute TEMPEST testing, and develop final test reports. This role involves working closely with individuals responsible for Product Assurance and Configuration Management, participating in continued learning opportunities to achieve CTP-II certification and enhance EMC/RF knowledge, and verifying the calibration and operation of detection system test equipment. The position also includes reviewing and assisting with Product Assurance testing to ensure compliance with TSRD.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Certified TEMPEST Professional I (CTP-I) certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a TEMPEST test laboratory.
  • Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Strong reasoning abilities to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Strong communications skills (written, oral, and interpersonal).
  • Able to work closely with team members and ensure a collaborative environment with all levels of company personnel.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified TEMPEST Professional II (CTP-II) certification preferred.
  • Experience with EMI testing, FCC, VDE preferred.
  • Military experience with electrical engineering training to include communications, radio, and SIGINT preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow TEMPEST test plans, execute TEMPEST testing, and develop final test reports
  • Work closely with individuals primarily responsible for Product Assurance and Configuration Management for the product
  • Participate in continued learning opportunities to work toward a CTP-II certification and further EMC/RF knowledge
  • Verify that the detection system test equipment is calibrated and operating correctly
  • Review and assist with Product Assurance testing to ensure compliance with TSRD
