About The Position

The Temp Retail Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and applying the company’s customer experience principles. The associate helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store; follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
