About The Position

The position is for a Temporary/Relief Medical Director at the Veterans Home of California – Redding, CA. The physician must maintain a current, unrestricted California M.D. or D.O. license. The contractor must maintain a telephone contact available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, respond to CalVet service requests within 1 hour, and be able to provide requested services within approximately 24 hours, unless another schedule is agreed upon. The contractor must also provide qualified replacement coverage when the assigned physician is unavailable.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted California M.D. or D.O. license
• Lives within 100 miles of the Veterans Home in Redding

Responsibilities
