About The Position

Farwell Full Time Teller. This position is responsible for receiving checks and cash for deposit to accounts, verifying amounts, examining checks for proper endorsement, and entering deposits into computer records. The Teller will also cash checks and process withdrawals, pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances. Additionally, the role involves promoting and explaining other financial institution services such as CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks, and money orders. The Teller will receive mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments, ensuring they match the balance due, and enter them into the computer, generating customer receipts. Responsibilities include counting, checking, and packaging coins and currency, ensuring teller stations are stocked with necessary forms and supplies, and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers. The role also requires pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge, performing other similar or related duties as necessary, and delivering outstanding customer service. Specific duties may include assisting with account opening procedures, pinning ATM/Debit cards, and documenting and filing items into synergy. Travel to other branches to assist with staffing may be required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma required
Strong verbal communication skills
Good mathematical skills
Basic computer knowledge
Enthusiastic, positive, outgoing personality

Responsibilities
