About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the High Point North branch in High Point, North Carolina. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processing transactions and providing a welcoming, reliable experience. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through attentive service, accuracy, and care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping Tellers learn about customers’ needs and introduce relevant products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and refer them to bankers for detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support daily operations and consistent customer service. Wells Fargo describes the position as a starting point for career growth and mobility, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The schedule will include Saturdays. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them toward efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships by listening to understand everyday financial needs and connecting customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, ask questions to clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable Wells Fargo policies, procedures, and risk and compliance requirements; identify, escalate, and help remediate issues as appropriate.
