About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller processes transactions accurately and provides a welcoming, reliable experience as a primary point of contact for customers. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping Tellers learn about customers’ needs and introduce relevant products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. They work closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The position offers exposure to retail banking and potential career growth supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is based at one of the listed Boca Raton or Delray Beach branches, subject to availability. The work schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to deliver a positive, reliable branch experience.
Process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand customers’ everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening to clarify needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues as required.
