About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the Crown Valley location in Laguna Niguel, California. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processing transactions while providing a welcoming and reliable experience. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role builds foundational banking skills through learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The Teller identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them with the appropriate banker for more detailed product conversations. The position works closely with branch teammates to maintain daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience, with training, coaching, and opportunities for long-term growth and career mobility. The position requires a schedule that includes Saturdays and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. The listed base pay range is $22.00–$27.50; pay may vary based on factors such as prior performance, skills, experience, and work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to ensure timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify and escalate issues and make sound risk decisions.
