About The Position

This is a part-time Teller position requiring 30 hours per week. The role involves performing various customer service and operational duties within a bank branch, ensuring adherence to security and compliance procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Computer skills required

Nice To Haves

  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products a plus
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform functions necessary to provide the highest levels of customer service and responsiveness.
  • Ensure excellence in customer service and maintain service standards.
  • Act as a resource to identify and resolve customer servicing issues.
  • Respond to customer requests, problems, and complaints, ensuring proper hand-off if necessary.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Recognize opportunities to suggest and cross-sell other bank services.
  • Process a variety of transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash, checks, and credit card advances.
  • Participate in individual, team, and bank goals.
  • Adhere to internal controls/policies regarding audit, dual control, security, regulatory compliance, cash limits, and robbery procedures.
  • Ensure BSA procedures are followed.
  • Answer phone and in-person account inquiries.
  • Account for all money in individual cash drawer and balance transactions daily.
  • Ensure the prevention of fraudulent activities through adherence to bank policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to branch security procedures.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
