About The Position

This position is responsible for accurately processing deposit account and loan transactions while adhering to all policies and procedures. The Teller will support the Retail Banking expectations by maintaining customer relationships, providing superior customer service, and referring bank products and services when beneficial and appropriate.

Requirements

  • 6 months of cash handling and/or customer service experience
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Co-op participation; and previous cash handling and/or retail experience

Nice To Haves

  • 2–4 years cash handling and/or customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Effectively process customer transactions with a high level of integrity, accuracy and knowledge.
  • Operate in full compliance with internal policies/procedures, as well as applicable regulations/laws.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships by identifying customer needs, promoting current promotional offers and referring customer to Bankers and other lines of business (i.e., Residential Lending, Business Banking, Commercial Real Estate, WIS and Merchant Services) for further assistance with bank products and services.
  • Provide an unparalleled customer experience as set forth in WSB’s Mission.
  • Maintain knowledge of WSB’s core processing system, WSB products and service, WSB policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements governing retail deposit accounts.
  • Answer customer questions and resolve related account issues, including phone and in-person.
  • Other duties as assigned.
