About The Position

This is a part-time Teller position with mid-day hours from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and Saturday mornings from 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM. The primary role is to assist members with their financial transactions, including paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.

Requirements

• Ability to assist members with financial transactions.
• Proficiency in handling cash and negotiable instruments.
• Ability to balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Skills in welcoming members and providing routine information.
• Ability to direct members to appropriate departments.
• Experience in cross-selling services.
• Proficiency in typing, filing, computer input, and answering the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments.
• Sells money orders and travelers checks to members.
• Transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
• Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services.
• Directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
• Cross-sells credit union services.
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
