About The Position

As a Teller at Horizon, you’ll be the welcoming face and helpful voice our customers count on every day. Our Tellers embody the Bank’s culture of YES—delivering solutions, building relationships, and making banking easy and enjoyable for everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll play a key role in the branch operations team, collaborating across departments to support customer requests and branch initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who brings positivity, strong communication, and a commitment to teamwork and accuracy. We’re looking for energetic, service-driven individuals to join our Central Texas branch teams this summer on a part-time basis. This is an in-person position where every day offers the chance to connect, grow, and make an impact.

Requirements

Minimum: high school graduate and exposure to cash handling/customer service.
Optimistic, internally motivated, team-oriented personality.
Ability to make decisions, create change, and help grow a company – while growing yourself.

Responsibilities

Make it easy for customers to do business with us by accurately processing checking and savings deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, traveler’s checks, bonds, cash advances and other products and services while adhering to all Bank and Department policies and procedures.
Give every customer an extraordinary experience including inside and outside customers.
Provide solutions for everyone you encounter and if you cannot, then work with customers and team members to find the solution.
Set goals for yourself and strive to attain them whether that is balancing your drawer 365 days in a row or learning new functions within the Bank.
Continuously improve yourself and, thereby, those around you.
Contribute to the Bank by offering ideas and being a supportive team member.
