About The Position

The Teller Supervisor is responsible for providing support to tellers and supervising teller employees. This role involves accurately processing all banking transactions, managing and overseeing all teller operations, training, and customer service standards. Key duties include assisting with staffing and scheduling, monitoring and approving time and attendance, and completing annual evaluations with input from the Branch Manager. Employees are expected to treat all customers and colleagues with respect, exceed customer expectations, meet customer needs, and conduct interactions with honesty, ethics, and strong moral principles. High performance, accountability, teamwork, efficient information sharing, attention to detail, problem-solving, sound decision-making, effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking are essential. Punctuality and compliance with all laws, regulations, and required training are also expected.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in banking is required.
  • General computer skills
  • Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Accurately processes all banking transactions.
  • Closes customer accounts.
  • Balances ATM and night drop.
  • Performs quarterly teller drawer audits.
  • Performs quarterly ATM card audit.
  • Orders weekly branch cash.
  • Prepares money to be shipped to FED.
  • Completes monthly statement reconciliations for cash advance service.
  • Completes monthly review of past due collections.
  • Manage and oversee all teller operations, training and customer service standards.
  • Assist in staffing and scheduling of teller employees.
  • Monitors and approves teller time and attendance.
  • Completes annual evaluations and performance corrections, with the assistance and input of the Branch Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
