About The Position

United Bank of Union has a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, energetic, customer-focused individual to join our Retail Banking team as Teller Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily teller operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with banking policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of banking/teller experience
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and teller operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead teller role strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor teller staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
  • Resolve customer issues and escalate complex problems.
  • Perform teller duties as needed.
  • Verify and approve wire transfer instruction exceptions.
  • Promote bank products and services to customers.
  • Balance vault and ATM, and oversee end-of-day balancing procedures.
  • Monitor performance, give feedback to tellers.
  • Opens and closes teller facilities during scheduled workdays, as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance of federal and state regulations and bank policies and procedures.
  • Monitor teller transactions for accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
  • Prepare reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary
